engineering kinetics (pvt.) ltd. was established in 1982 to provide Mechanical Construction, Installation & Erection Services to the industry. The company, at its inception, had tough competition with the already existing well established operators in this area who had a clear edge over EKL in terms of construction equipment and financial stability. EKL steadily established itself in the market using inherent strength of its professional management as the key personnel including the Chief Executive and actively engaged directors were engineering graduates having vast industrial experience.

EKL managed an early breakthrough by winning contracts of very specialized nature with multinational companies. These projects involved sophisticated welding techniques and advanced engineering skills. During the same period, EKL penetrated booming market of milk processing and fruit juice industries and constructed more than fifteen dairy and fruit juice plants all over the country. EKL also contributed in the expansion of a large number of pharmaceutical plants mostly in the multinational sector. Having accomplished that successfully in the early nineties, the company management decided to make investment in the heavy construction plant and equipment. Apart from a fleet of seven cranes in various capacities, a large number of welding, rigging and heavy construction equipment was acquired. This was the turning point in the Company's history as it was now equipped to bid for cement, power, chemical and other heavy industrial projects.

During the decade 1991 to 2000, EKL grabbed a large share of the market by installing about twenty power plants all over the country, the largest being 136 MW plant at Karachi. Other major projects completed within the last few years include the main equipment for a 3300 TPD Cement Plant and complete installation of a 200 TPD Polyester fiber plant.

Over the period of time, EKL has established itself as a reliable, and efficient mechanical construction company equipped with modern construction plant and machinery and a team of highly trained and qualified staff capable of handling projects virtually of every size, nature and complexity in the most professional manners.
